At our weekend workshops, the saying "the truth is within you" comes to life. During the Heart of Now, you will have the opportunity to curiously explore what is true for you as facilitators guide you through a set of exercises. You will be encouraged to notice your thoughts, the words you use, your body sensations, and any emotions or feelings that come up over the weekend. You'll be supported in your exploration by open-hearted questions, reflections of other participants, and our committed facilitator and assistant team.

Heart of Now focuses on the act of being present. Living life from the present momemt allows one to tap into their intuition and the authenticity of who they are. When we become present after living a life of nonpresence, we often find that we have emotional congestion and restrictive thinking preventing us from living the life we dream of living. Over the weekend, you will learn how to feel and release emotion in helpful ways, as well as notice and change restrictive ideas you have about yourself and others. As a group we will explore self-judgment, practicing open-hearted honesty with ourselves and with others, and connecting with our dreams and passions so that these may become the focus of our lives. Heart of Now is a wonderful experience for those looking to grow and become more self-aware. Applying the tools, you will learn over the weekend, to your life on a consistent basis can empower you to create more of what you want in life. Heart of Now often brings clarity to those with confusion, healing to those carrying emotional burdens, connection to those who feel isolated, inspiration to those who feel stuck and growth and awareness to those looking to know themselves deeper.

In addition to working well for individuals, Heart of Now also works well for couples. Each person will get time to focus on themselves as an individual, and time to be supported as a couple.

In the last portion of our workshop, Heart of Now focuses on bringing what you've learned into the rest of your life. Heart of Now also provides several ways for you to continue your growth and your connection with

the Heart of Now community, including practice groups in Eugene (Portland and Seattle group coming soon), and the opportunity to assist at future workshops.

Bountiful and healthy meals will be provided from Friday lunch through Sunday breakfast. We also provide beverages throughout the day and snacks during breaks.

Lodging is provided in a shared dorm room with 1-2 other participants. Private rooms are available on request for an additional fee. Couples will automatically be put in a private room.

Date: Friday, May 18th at 10 AM - Sunday May 20th at approx 3:00 PM

Location: Lost Valley Education Center, Dexter, Oregon

Cost: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment is not guaranteed until we receive your registration fee. Courses like ours usually range $600-$1800. We want you to experience this workshop before putting a price tag on it. You will be charged a registration fee and then given an opportunity to further donate to the course after you have experienced the weekend and can reflect on its value. Our registration fee equates to only a dollar a day for a year at $365. Food and lodging included! Our registration deadline is 3 wks before the start date of each course. Those that register after this deadline will be charged $465 late registration. We offer payment plans for those that can not pay the entire amount at once.

Scholarships

We offer some partial scholarships for those in special circumstances with increased financial hardships. Our prices are already very low in comparison to similar workshops that don't include food and lodging. While we would love to offer everyone a scholarship, we need to make costs to afford to keep this priceless experience happening. If you ask for a partial scholarship you will be sent an application. If approved, you will be expected to work off your partial scholarship at $10/hr trade value for time given to our organization, our organizers or nonprofits in your area if you are outside of Oregon. Setting up a payment plan is also available if your funds are limited.
